Trip to the Drive-In Movies | 2012

It was a pretty random idea, but it sounded like so much fun! At 11:00 at night I hopped into the car with my older sister Lacey, and friend Sonya. Off to the drive-in movies we went! Me being the photographer that I am, brought my camera with me of course! The sky was just gorgeous!
                                               Trying out some different techniques.
Heart bokeh!!
                                                         Small town bokeh!
Before the movie we decided to make a quick Walmart stop. I mean come on, if we're going to be up until 2:00 in the morning we needed a sugar rush! ;)
Sour patch, monsters, coffee, almond joys, lint chocolates, and red hots! Yup, I think we're all set! Do you not agree?
We got blankets and set them up in the back of the pick-up truck to make a nice comfortable sitting spot. We had good talks, ate some much candy we felt sick, laughed like there was no tomorrow, and just had great fun! It being my first time at a drive inn I'd say it was the neatest experience! Did you know there are only 25 left in the whole USA, and 13 of those drive-in movies are in the state of Washington. How cool is that!?
After getting home around 2:00 am (Which is super late for me! I'm more of a morning person...) I managed to brush my teeth, throw some pajamas on, and I was out!

If you've never been to the drive-in movie I highly suggest you do, it's pretty much the coolest thing ever!

  3. I've never been to one! :( We don't have those in Arizona. :/ At least not that I've heard of. But they look like SO much fun! And I'd say all that sugar should have kept you up for a while. ;) What movie did you see?

    1. We saw Men In Black (3?) That's a bummer that there's no drive-in around Arizona. Well if you ever come to Washington for a visit, I'll have to take you to one. ;)
